Advanced Technology Centres
Foundations for Every Engineering Discipline
Internet of Things and Drone Technology Centre (IoT& DT)
The Internet of Things and Drone Technology Centre (IoT& DT) provides students with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing IoT-based systems. The laboratory is equipped with advanced hardware platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP8266, along with various application-oriented sensors, allowing students to explore real-world and industrial applications of IoT and Drone technology. Through practical sessions, students gain a comprehensive understanding of IoT and Drone technologies including architectures, communication protocols, sensor interfacing, and data analysis, fostering their ability to create innovative solutions for modern socio-economic engineering challenges and it also helps them to be industry ready.
This centre will emerge with industry applications by providing students with hands-on experience on real-world projects, collaborating with industry partners, and incorporating cutting-edge technologies, thereby bridging the gap between academia and industry, and enabling students to develop innovative solutions that meet industry needs.
IoT & DT Centre acts as a research and consulting facility for our faculty and as a skill development centre for our students.
